CMCOMMS is a pharmaceutical supply chain quality assurance company that is committed to advocating for patient safety and the quality of pharmaceutical products in Zimbabwe and the Southern Africa region. CMCOMMS has a proven track record of success in advocacy, as evidenced by the following achievements:

• Submitted a dossier in 2020 titled Gaps in the Supply Chain of Medical Products in Zimbabwe to MCAZ, which resulted in the MCAZ GSDP regulations of Pharmaceutical Products in Zimbabwe of July 2021.
• Successfully engaged all public and private health stakeholders, including the government, pharmaceutical companies, logistics providers, and healthcare professionals, to support the development and implementation of the MCAZ GSDP regulations.
• Engaged SADC to have GDP regulations harmonized for the Southern Africa Region, which would help to ensure the consistent quality of pharmaceutical products throughout the region.
• Active members of the Southern Africa Academy of Pharmacy, a professional organization dedicated to promoting the advancement of pharmacy practice in the Southern Africa region.

CMCOMMS provides a variety of advocacy services to pharmaceutical companies, logistics providers, and other stakeholders in the pharmaceutical supply chain. These services include:

• Raising awareness of the importance of pharmaceutical supply chain quality assurance among policymakers, regulators, healthcare professionals, and the public.
• Promoting the adoption of Good Storage and Distribution Practices (GDP) throughout the pharmaceutical supply chain.
• Advocating for harmonized GDP regulations across the Southern Africa region.
• Representing the interests of the pharmaceutical supply chain in government policymaking processes.
• Providing expert advice and guidance on pharmaceutical supply chain quality assurance issues.
